Sullivan, renowned for his fierce and often antagonistic persona in the ring, had a complicated personal life.

His most notable relationship was with Nancy Toffoloni, a fellow wrestler. The couple married in 1985 and had four children together before their divorce in 1997.

Sullivan was prominently involved with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) starting in early 1994. He first teamed up with his kayfabe brother, Dave Sullivan, at various house shows and TV appearances.

By April 1994, he was a regular feature in WCW. Sullivan’s notable achievements included winning the Tag Team Title with Cactus Jack, although the partnership ended after losing the titles. Sullivan later defeated Cactus in a “Loser Leaves WCW” match.

Sullivan’s storylines were marked by intense rivalries, including a significant feud with Hulk Hogan.

Displeased with his brother Dave’s imitation of Hogan, Sullivan’s anger led to a conflict that brought in Hogan’s friend Ed Leslie, known as The Butcher, and the imposing Avalanche.

This group, known as The Three Faces of Fear, clashed with Hogan, Randy Savage, and Sting. Despite their efforts, the group was unable to defeat Hogan, and Sullivan eventually turned against his allies.
