The performances will be a mix of live and pre-taped segments, showcasing a vibrant handover to Los Angeles, the host city for the 2028 Summer Olympics.

Ben Winston, known for his work on the Grammy Awards, is collaborating with French producers to coordinate the event.

Eilish, 22, was born in Los Angeles, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were formed there. Snoop Dogg, who has been commenting for NBC during the Games, hails from Long Beach, just outside L.A.

In an exciting twist, Tom Cruise will reportedly perform a dramatic stunt at the ceremony.

The 62-year-old actor is expected to carry out a daring skydiving act as part of the transition from Paris to L.A.

The plan includes Cruise swinging from the top of the Stade de France and then traveling in a plane with the Olympic flag.

The broadcast will feature a pre-recorded segment where Cruise parachutes onto the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles.
