The funeral banner of the young man, a resident of Tanoso where the lynching occurred, has surfaced online, sparking reactions on social media.

Sources revealed that Batman fled Tanoso to Anyinam shortly after news of Wyllbee’s lynching went viral, amid police arrests of suspects involved in the incident.

Family sources further disclosed that Batman had been battling diabetes for nearly three years. His escape to Anyinam hindered his access to proper medical care, leading to his demise.

Meanwhile, the case involving Wyllbee and the key murder suspect, Nana Yaa, has been adjourned to August 11, 2024.

Reports indicate that Wyllbee was killed in Abuakwa-Tanoso, Ashanti Region, while staying overnight at Nana Yaa Nyarko’s residence. The property, reportedly owned by her husband’s family abroad, housed Wyllbee unbeknownst to them.

On July 5, 2024, Wyllbee was seen urinating in the compound and was confronted by residents who suspected him of theft.

Wyllbee claimed he was visiting Nana Yaa, but she allegedly denied knowing him to protect her marriage from her in-laws.

This denial led to heightened suspicion and accusations of theft among the neighbors, culminating in Wyllbee being lynched. Reports also mention that his phone was destroyed with a stone during the incident.

The tragic events have left the community in shock, as legal proceedings continue to unfold.
