Popular Ghanaian songstress Mzbel has announced the passing of her mother. The singer’s mother is believed to have passed away in the late hours of Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

Mzbel did not disclose the cause of death or the circumstances surrounding her mother’s passing. However, she shared a photo of her late mother on her official Instagram page with the caption, “Rest in power mummy.”
This loss comes after Mzbel had previously lost her father, Albert Amoah, in January 2022.
Fans and well-wishers have expressed their sympathy and offered prayers for strength to Mzbel and her family during this difficult time.

In a recent interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, Mzbel revealed that she has never been married and has no intention of getting married.
She stated, “As for marriage, it’s a no for me. Although I have been in multiple relationships, I have never been married, and I don’t plan to.”
Mzbel further explained, “I have dated several men, some of whom even gave me rings, including the one I wear now. It was given to me by my partner when I had a child. It’s not a promise ring, but a token of our long-term relationship.”
