Cynthia, Ebuka’s Wife, Shares Her Desire for a Male Child

Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, the wife of popular Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has opened up about her wish to have a son as her third child. The couple, who tied the knot in February 2016, are already proud parents of two daughters, Jeweluchi and Irubinachi.

In a recent interview on the Mum’s Next Door podcast, Cynthia shared her hopes of expanding their family with a baby boy. When asked if she still plans to have another child, Cynthia responded, “Yes, I want one more child. I have two girls now, so my prayers will be to have a boy.”

Cynthia also touched on her husband’s views on having more children. When asked if Ebuka shares her desire for another baby, she clarified, “It is my decision. Not Ebuka’s decision.”

She further explained that while Ebuka initially wanted just one child due to the financial demands of raising children, he has since become completely enamored with their daughters. “My husband wanted just one child because he wants to be able to give the child the best. He said school fees, everything is so expensive so one is fine. But now, he is obsessed with our children and I’m sure if we have the third, he will equally be obsessed.”
