Barcelona’s pursuit of Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams has been boosted after the Spain international reportedly turned down an offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

Nico Williams, who impressed last season with eight goals and 19 assists, played a crucial role in Spain’s Euro 2024 triumph. His performances have attracted interest from top clubs, including PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
Despite the interest, Nico Williams is not keen on a Premier League move or joining another major European league.

According to Sport, he declined PSG’s proposal after being approached by the club’s presidential sports advisor, Luis Campos.
While Barcelona are prepared to activate Nico Williams’s €55m release clause to sing him from Atletico Bilbao, his decision remains uncertain.
