Goals from Gabriel Vidovic and Leon Goretzka secured the win in Kompany’s first significant test since taking charge of the Bundesliga giants.
Despite Tottenham’s efforts, including a stunning long-range goal from Pedro Porro, Bayern’s early dominance set the tone.

Vidovic opened the scoring by slotting through Guglielmo Vicario’s legs following a mistake in Tottenham’s defense. Goretzka doubled the lead after halftime, displaying Bayern’s slick passing and teamwork.
Tottenham, dealing with fatigue from their demanding tour in scorching summer heat, managed to pull one back through Porro’s thunderbolt, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
The match saw a sold-out crowd of 67,000, many supporting local heroes Son Heung-min and Bayern’s Kim Min-jae, marking an exciting pre-season fixture for both teams.
