Controversial street pop singer Habeeb Olalomi, better known as Portable, has come under heavy criticism after losing 100,000 Instagram followers within hours of making controversial remarks about ongoing protests in Nigeria.

In a recent video, Portable claimed that there were no protests in Sango, Ogun State, where he resides.
He explained that since previous protests had been ignored by the government, he and others in his area chose to concentrate on their daily work instead.
The singer’s comments sparked outrage among fans, leading to a significant drop in his follower count. Reports indicate that within 12 hours of posting the video, Portable lost 100,000 followers, with many fans acting on their threats to unfollow him.
