Early Life and Career
Growing up in a large family with a single mother, Rosa, Andrade’s journey into gymnastics began at the age of four.
Her mother worked tirelessly to fund Rebeca’s training, which started in a local gym and later saw her moving to Curitiba and then Rio de Janeiro to further her skills.
Fluent in Portuguese and English, Andrade is also proudly Afro-Brazilian.

Andrade’s senior career has been marked by significant accomplishments. She is a two-time Olympic silver medalist (2020, 2024) and a World champion in the all-around (2022).
