Nigerian music sensation Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, has made startling revelations about his twin brother, Peter Okoye, in a recent interview with City105.5FM. Rudeboy disclosed that Peter, also known as Mr. P, was behind his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in December last year.

During the interview, Rudeboy detailed the harrowing experience, explaining that his arrest stemmed from a petition filed by his twin brother. He revealed that Peter’s disapproval of his lifestyle appeared to be the motivation behind the drastic action. “I was faced with a potential 20-year prison sentence,” Rudeboy recounted, still bewildered by the accusations. “I kept asking myself, ‘What did I do?’”
According to Rudeboy, the EFCC investigation involved scrutinizing his account statements, and he was ultimately relieved to find no evidence of fraudulent activity. The ordeal left him perplexed, especially since he prides himself on his straightforward business dealings.

A family meeting was convened approximately a month ago, during which Rudeboy was cleared of all claims by EFCC authorities. Despite his exoneration, Rudeboy noted that Peter has refused to apologize for his actions. He attributed the tension to their differing lifestyles, describing himself as a businessman who saves money, in contrast to his brother’s more extravagant spending habits.
The EFCC investigation revealed that Peter had allegedly misappropriated Rudeboy’s funds for personal purchases dating back to 2006/2007. Despite these findings, Peter remains unrepentant, causing a rift between the once-close siblings.
