The potential transfer to Milan would see Abraham reunited with former Chelsea teammate Fikayo Tomori, strengthening the bond between the two players who rose through the ranks together under Frank Lampard.
Meanwhile, West Ham remains on the hunt for a new striker, with Michail Antonio and Danny Ings the only senior options available.
With Alexander Sorloth moving to Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund rejecting an initial bid for Niclas Fullkrug, West Ham continues to explore other targets to bolster their attacking options.
