The match, played in the early hours of Thursday morning, saw the Italian side AC Milan continue their strong pre-season form, having previously defeated Manchester City 3-2.
AC Milan’s coach, Paulo Fonseca, fielded a similar lineup to the one that triumphed over Manchester City, making a few adjustments such as bringing in Malick Thiaw and Mattia Liberali.

Despite the absence of Rafael Leao and the benching of Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah, AC Milan’s defensive setup proved effective.
Real Madrid struggled to penetrate AC Milan’s defense and were limited to just two shots in the first half.
The goal came in the second half when Fikayo Tomori’s pressing allowed Liberali to set up Samuel Chukwueze for a precise finish. AC Milan will face Barcelona in their final U.S. pre-season match next Wednesday.
