Barcelona Considers Nico Williams Deal Unlikely

Barcelona’s pursuit of Spanish young winger Nico Williams is reportedly failing, with sources now deeming the deal practically dead.

The club had pushed hard to sign the 22-year-old Nico Williams this summer, but increasing pessimism surrounds the potential transfer.

According to emerging news from Spain, Barcelona officials are attributing the collapse of the Nico Williams deal to significant pressure from Williams’ family and Athletic Club.

Despite Barcelona’s efforts, including appeals from Nico Williams’ friends at the club like Alejandro Balde, Gavi, Lamine Yamal, and Pedri, the operation appears to be at a standstill.

Nico Williams could have complemented the efforts of Lamine Yamal on the left wing of Barcelona to create a very deadly attack with the arrow head being Robert Lewandowski.

Barcelona will shift their full attention now to signing fellow Spanish attacker Dani Olmo who has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou.
