After grounding out in his first two at-bats, Holliday launched a 439-foot drive to right field, giving the Orioles a 10-4 victory.
His grand slam is the seventh home run this season to reach Eutaw Street at Camden Yards. Holliday’s home run also marks him as the third Orioles player—and the first since 1985—to hit a grand slam for his first major league homer.
The Orioles had a strong showing, and Holliday’s performance was a highlight of the game.
