Southampton Show Interest In Dortmund’s Youssoufa Moukoko

Southampton have shown interest in Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko, according to journalist Patrick Berger.

Despite being just 19 years of age, Moukoko endured a challenging season last year, starting only four Bundesliga games but still managing five goals.

Youssoufa Moukoko is now seeking a move away from Dortmund for more regular first-team action. His game time was limited due to the emergence of Niclas Füllkrug in the Dortmund team.

The young forward faces stiff competition, with clubs like Girona, Real Betis, Sevilla, Real Sociedad, and Rennes also keen on securing his services.

Southampton, however, stand out as the only Premier League team in the race, exploring either a loan or permanent deal for Youssoufa Moukoko.

Southampton have been active in the transfer market this summer and view Youssoufa Moukoko as a promising addition to their team set-up as they hope to remain in the Premier League for a long time.
