Although Ivan Toney, who has entered the final 12 months of his Brentford contract, could be available for a cut-price fee, it is reported that that Manchester United are not in concrete talks with Brentford for Toney.
The Red Devils appear to be banking on Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund as their main strikers for the long-term future, with no immediate plans to add another forward.
Ivan Toney has attracted interest for a number of top Premier League teams including Arsenal, West Ham United, and Tottenham Hotspur.
