Aston Villa’s pursuit of 24-year-old Atletico Madrid outcast Joao Felix has reportedly stalled, with reports from Portugal indicating that the Premier League side has made no progress in negotiations over a potential deal.

Aston Villa, under manager Unai Emery, identified Felix as a possible replacement for Moussa Diaby, who recently moved to Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.

Despite their interest, Aston Villa has failed to advance in talks for the Portugal international, who continues to face an uncertain future at Atletico.
