Nollywood actress Caroline Danjuma has expressed her concerns about the rising cost of food in Nigeria.

After visiting the market for the first time in years, she was shocked by the high prices of essential items such as yam, potatoes, avocado pears, and titus fish.
She shared her experience on Instagram, noting that a tuber of yam now costs 10,000 naira, a small paint bucket of potatoes is 9,000 naira, a bag of rice is 85,000 naira, and avocado pears range from 1,000 to 1,500 naira. Two pieces of titus fish cost 5,000 naira.
Caroline expressed her sympathy for Nigerians struggling with these prices and the declining economy. She mentioned feeling sad and concerned for the masses, especially as she shopped for her domestic staff.

The actress also reflected on her nostalgic memories of going to the market with her grandmother, contrasting those times with the present situation.
In her post, she reached out to her followers, offering support and suggesting the possibility of group sessions for mental and emotional therapy.
She expressed her willingness to start these sessions and sent a message of hope, saying that better days will come.
