Court documents have implicated American music mogul Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, in the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.

According to the U.S. Sun, the Bad Boy Records boss is accused of paying $1 million to suspect Duane “Keefe D” Davis for Shakur’s assassination.

The new court documents, filed on July 18, name Diddy 77 times by his various pseudonyms, including Puffy, Puff Daddy, Puff, and his real name, Sean Combs.

The documents reveal Davis’s claim that Diddy paid Eric Von Martin $1 million for the killings.

In one transcript, Davis reportedly testified to Diddy’s involvement, stating that Diddy expressed his willingness to pay “anything” for the head of Suge Knight, who he feared, and also had issues with Shakur after a diss track was released about him.

Prosecutors filed these documents to oppose Davis’s latest bail request. Last month, Davis’s $112,500 bail bond was rejected due to concerns about the source of the money.

It remains unclear if Diddy will be subpoenaed or indicted as part of the ongoing case.
