In a video posted on her Instagram page, Nwachukwu took aim at Davido for what she perceives as misplaced priorities.
The controversy erupted after Ubi Franklin expressed his gratitude to Davido for the generous gift, which drew significant attention. Nwachukwu, however, seized the moment to question Davido’s financial decisions, particularly regarding his responsibilities as a father.

She alleged that Davido’s lavish gift to Franklin, described as “Chioma’s nanny,” highlights a disparity in his personal obligations. According to Nwachukwu, Davido has neglected to fulfill his parental duties by failing to pay his first daughter Imade’s school fees.
Nwachukwu’s video sharply criticized Davido for allegedly using his relationship with Imade’s mother, Sophia Momodu, as an excuse for his shortcomings in supporting his child.
The video has sparked widespread discussion, with viewers divided over Davido’s actions and Nwachukwu’s pointed remarks.
