Media personality Afia Pokua, known as Vim Lady, has questioned the recent criticism directed at singer King Paluta following his interaction with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

In a video posted by Vim Lady, she showcased celebrities participating in the Mahama Walk, an event organized to support former President John Mahama and promote democratic engagement in Ghana.
The video featured notable figures like broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwah (KKD) and actor Fred Nuamah, among others, who joined the walk to highlight the importance of political involvement.
Vim Lady commended their participation, emphasizing its beneficial impact on Ghana’s democracy.

However, she expressed disappointment over the backlash against King Paluta, who had simply greeted Vice President Bawumia at a different event.
Vim Lady questioned why such a simple gesture had led to severe criticism, particularly since Paluta did not endorse or show support for Bawumia. She pointed out the excessive intolerance towards differing opinions and interactions.
In her post, Vim Lady stressed that King Paluta’s greeting should not be misconstrued as an endorsement of Bawumia, and she urged people to reflect on their reactions towards others’ choices. She invited her followers to share their thoughts on the matter.
