The accident, which occurred en route to the Central Region, resulted in serious injuries for Fosu and Bless, who were subsequently treated at the University of Ghana Medical Center.
In a recent interview on Accra-based Adom TV, KK Fosu addressed the controversy surrounding his absence from John Claude’s funeral. Despite sharing the ill-fated vehicle with the late publicist, Fosu insists he had no prior acquaintance with him.

“I don’t know John Claude. We were both involved in an accident and that has made us family, but I don’t know him,” Fosu explained. He further elaborated on their efforts to honor Claude, stating, “We even did a song for him, but people insulted us for that.”

Fosu expressed frustration over the backlash he and Bless have received, particularly regarding their perceived lack of support following the accident.
“I’ve been sick but I’ve followed the conversations. I’ve been in this industry for a very long time and this is not the kind of treatment to be meted out to me,” he lamented. He singled out Elorm Bennie, accusing him of fueling the criticism. “I know Elorm Bennie is the one behind this, but he should know that I’ve been in this industry for long and he may not even be able to achieve what I have achieved in the industry,” Fosu stated.
The highlife artiste also voiced his disappointment at the lack of concern shown for his own well-being. “They did not call me or even come to check on how I was doing, but they are sitting on social media saying what they want,” he added.
