One of Hewitt’s notable moments on the field was a famous stand-off with England’s Richard Cockerill during the haka at a 1997 match at Old Trafford, where the two players faced off nose-to-nose.
Hewitt is remembered for his contributions to rugby and his commitment to his community. His passing is mourned by fans, family, and the rugby community.
