The Ghana Police Service has invited Kwame Asare Obeng, widely known as A-Plus, to aid in the ongoing investigation of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale’s death.

This invitation was prompted by A-Plus’s recent social media claims of possessing information related to the case.
On July 13, during a Facebook live session, A-Plus asserted that he knew the identities of those responsible for Suale’s death. He expressed his willingness to provide evidence to support his claims if required.
In their statement, the police indicated that the Cold Case Unit, which was established in October 2021 under the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), has been diligently working on the investigation.

This unit has been in close contact with the deceased journalist’s family. The police expressed satisfaction with A-Plus’s offer to share potentially useful information and have therefore extended an invitation for his assistance.
