Seun Kuti Reflects on Fatherhood as His Greatest Life Achievement

Famous musician and activist Seun Kuti recently shared his thoughts on being a dad. He says it’s the best thing he’s ever done in his life.

In a talk with Timi Agbaje, Kuti spoke about how happy he is raising his daughter. He also mentioned he has another daughter, but he’s not close to her because he’s not in touch with her mother.

Kuti explained that having his daughter and watching her grow is his biggest success. He feels this way even though he has two children but is only close to one.

When asked about this situation, Kuti said family matters can be complicated. He admitted he wasn’t married when he had his first daughter, adding that he had only been intimate twice before she was born.

Kuti is now married to Yetunde Kuti, who used to dance in his shows. They’ve known each other for a long time but only got close later. Yetunde shared that she met Kuti again through his cousin and started working as a dancer for him.

The couple lived together for a while and had a child before getting legally married in 2020.
