Yul Edochie Clarifies Reports Linking Him to Actor Shot Dead by Police in Kidnapping Gunfight

Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has vehemently denied any friendship or association with the late actor Eson Rich, amidst swirling controversy following Rich’s involvement in a police gunfight.

Recently, the Lagos State Police Command reported the death of nine alleged kidnappers involved in targeting high net-worth individuals.

Among them was Eson Rich, a prominent film producer whose involvement added a shocking twist to the case.

Media reports initially linked Yul Edochie to Eson Rich, circulating a viral photo that purported to show them as close friends.

However, Yul Edochie took to social media to set the record straight, criticizing blogs for falsely portraying their relationship.

“I am not friends with Eson Rich. The media has twisted a chance encounter on a film set into something it is not,” Yul Edochie clarified in a statement, expressing frustration over the misleading portrayal.

According to Yul Edochie, their only interaction was a coincidental meeting on a film set where they took a photo together. He emphasized that this brief encounter did not signify any friendship or deeper connection between them.
