Rees-Mogg is known for his traditionalist and socially conservative views. A prominent Eurosceptic, he was a strong advocate for Brexit and proposed an electoral pact between the Conservative Party and the UK Independence Party (UKIP). His steadfast positions and distinctive style earned him the moniker “The Honourable Member for the 18th Century.”
