“On the 10th of August, it will be a full day dedicated to Ghana. Many Ghanaian artistes such as Sarkodie, King Promise, and Darko Vibes will perform,” stated the embassy spokesperson, highlighting the cultural celebration that awaits attendees.
While the official opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, featuring global acts like Celine Dion and Dua Lipa, is scheduled separately for July 26, the inclusion of Sarkodie and his compatriots in the African Fan Zone underscores a commitment to showcasing diverse musical talents from the continent.
This year’s ceremony promises an innovative approach, emphasizing accessibility through public screens outside the stadium to engage a broader audience worldwide.
