Celebrated Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang revealed that his lowest salary as an actor was GH₵4,000 in 2018.

During an interview on 3FM Lounge on Monday, July 8, Anang shared that he took on the role not for the money but because he believed in the film’s content.
This movie eventually earned him his first Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) best actor award.
Anang shared insights on producing movies that captivate the Ghanaian audience, discussing some challenges he has faced in the industry.

He mentioned that while lack of character development is a common issue, his experience helps him manage it.
He emphasized the importance of thorough research for scripts, as the content has significant impact on viewers.
Anang also spoke about working on low-budget films that have strong content. He expressed that despite budget constraints, good storytelling can still shine through.
The actor is set to star in a new movie, ‘The Groomsmen,’ which will premiere on Friday, July 12 at Silverbird Cinemas in Accra Mall.
