John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has unveiled a bold initiative aimed at boosting employment in Ghana’s digital sector if elected president.

During a media address on Sunday, July 7, Mahama outlined plans to generate 300,000 job opportunities within the digital space under his administration.
Emphasizing his commitment to gender equality, Mahama assured that his government would strive for equitable representation of both women and men.
“My promise still stands because my vision of a digital Ghana is as strong as ever,” Mahama affirmed.
He highlighted past efforts during his presidency to expand broadband access across the country and expressed unwavering dedication to leveraging digital technologies for national development.

“We need to embrace the digital age with vigor and creativity,” Mahama urged, underscoring the transformative potential of Ghana’s burgeoning digital economy.
He pledged to collaborate with local tech enterprises through a ‘Digital Jobs Initiative’ aimed at fostering at least 300,000 skilled jobs for the youth.
Mahama called upon Ghanaians to rally behind his presidential bid, positioning job creation and digital advancement as central pillars of his campaign platform.
