BBN Star Pere Reveals That Sharon Ooja’s Husband’s Cousin Confirmed He Was Married Once

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Pere Egbi, has addressed the swirling rumors about actress Sharon Ooja’s husband, Ugo Nwoke, who was speculated to have been married three times before. Pere clarified that Nwoke has only been married once, based on information from a reliable source.

Pere’s statement came in response to a viral video in which a woman, claiming to be a family friend of Ooja’s husband, stated that Nwoke had only one previous marriage. Pere shared the video on his X handle and added that he had received the same confirmation from Nwoke’s cousin, who is a close friend of his.

In his post, Pere expressed frustration with blogs that propagate unverified and negative news. He criticized them for prioritizing sensational stories over factual accuracy, which can mislead the public.

“Her husband’s cousin is my really good friend in Dallas. It’s funny how people read things and because they are gullible they believe it. And how are blogs just so focused on negative things to just carry any kind of story amazes me. They don’t care about the authenticity, they just carry it,” Pere wrote. “Her husband’s cousin confirmed the same thing to me. Married once. And there’s nothing wrong with being married once.”

The rumors about Nwoke’s marital history gained traction shortly after his traditional wedding with Sharon Ooja in Abuja. A blog claimed that Ooja was his fourth wife, alleging that his previous three marriages had ended in divorce.
