Despite these impressive figures, Gareth Southgate has favored other players like Jude Bellingham behind Harry Kane, and Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka in the wider positions.

Cole Palmer, often lining up on the right side of Chelsea’s forward line, is eager to contribute to England’s success in any attacking position.

When asked about his preferred position for England, Palmer told talkSPORT, “Anywhere near the net! Maybe not on the left but maybe as a right forward. I don’t mind the left. Sometimes it is pretty fun on the left.”
