On Saturday, June 29, 2024, some well-known ex-Ghana Black Stars soccer players went to a special music event called Live Konnect. The star of the show was Samini, a famous Ghanaian singer known for reggae and African dancehall music.

Among the famous guests were Sulley Muntari, Derrick Boateng, and Laryea Kingston, who used to play for Ghana’s national team. Other big names at the event included Reggie Rockston, a popular Ghanaian musician, and DJ Kofi.
The show took place at Soho in Marina Mall, and a man named Kofi Okyere Darko, or KOD for short, hosted it. Before Samini came on stage, two up-and-coming Ghanaian artists, Akiyaana and Yaw Darling, performed to warm up the crowd.

When it was his turn, Samini put on an amazing show that left everyone in awe. He sang with a group called the Groove House Band, and together they amazed the audience with their performance.
The person behind Live Konnect is DJ Mensah, a well-known Ghanaian DJ. He talked about how happy he was with how the event turned out. He said Live Konnect isn’t just a regular concert or party.
