On July 1, 2024, Rema shared a short clip of his new song “March Am” on social media. The song, made by producer P.Prime, mixes Afrobeats with rock music.

In the clip, we hear a catchy chorus where Rema repeats “March am” and brags about his fancy cars. This new song comes after another preview called “Hehehe,” which Rema recently performed in Germany.

Rema has been quiet for most of 2024, but he started the year with a song called “Benin Boys,” made with another artist named Shallipopi.
“Benin Boys” became the number one song on the TurnTable Top 100 chart in Nigeria. It looks like Rema is planning to release more music soon.
His new songs seem to show a more confident and experimental side of him. This new style comes after Rema’s big success in 2023.
His hit song “Calm Down” was played over 1 billion times on Spotify, a first for an Afrobeats song. Rema’s new music videos also have a darker look, like in his 2023 songs “DND” and “Smooth Criminal.”

He’s also been showing off his Benin culture in his clothes and stage designs, like at his big concert at the O2 Arena in 2023. Fans are excited to see what Rema will do next as he keeps changing and growing as an artist.
