Hall, who joined Chelsea’s Academy at the age of eight, has steadily risen through the ranks, making significant strides in his development. His Premier League debut came against Newcastle United in 2023, setting the stage for his eventual move to the Magpies on a season-long loan in August 2023.

During his loan spell at Newcastle, Hall made a notable impact, featuring in 22 matches and scoring one goal for the club. His performances impressed both fans and management alike, prompting Newcastle United to exercise their option to secure his services permanently.

The 19-year-old defender has now signed a long-term contract with Newcastle United, solidifying his commitment to the club. The permanent transfer was contingent on Hall meeting specific conditions during his loan period, including the club’s performance in the league standings.

Financially, the transfer fee for Hall’s move to Newcastle United is reported to be £28 million, with an additional £7 million potentially payable based on individual and team achievements during his tenure at the club. The deal’s completion was delayed until July 1, 2024, to adhere to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.

Lewis Hall’s permanent transfer to Newcastle United marks a significant milestone in his career, highlighting his progression from Chelsea’s esteemed Academy to becoming a pivotal part of Newcastle’s plans for the future.
