The song appears to address the backlash following LilWin’s recent accident, which tragically resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy and led to his own hospitalization. The incident has drawn significant public attention and controversy.
Announcing the new track on Instagram, LilWin revealed collaborations with King Paluta and Kwaku Flick. He posted:
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. On May 25, 2024, I was in a terrible accident with my manager @ray_moni, resulting in the loss of a young life. Rest in perfect peace, Nana Yaw.
“I pray that the good Lord grants your parents another child to fulfil your destiny. To all my fans, thank you for your prayers. Special thanks to @kwekuflick @kingpalutamusic & @apyagh for this project.”

Despite the heartfelt message, the announcement triggered fury among some netizens who criticized LilWin for what they perceived as a lack of sensitivity towards the family of the deceased child. Many felt that his decision to record and release music so soon after the tragic event was inappropriate and disrespectful.
The backlash intensified following LilWin’s appearance at his movie premiere shortly after the accident, which some viewed as an attempt to gain sympathy rather than a genuine acknowledgment of the pain and suffering caused by the incident.
Meanwhile, LilWin is currently facing legal proceedings related to the accident, with his case now before the Attorney General’s office. He was initially detained at Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital before being transferred to a police station and subsequently released on bail.
Calls for severe penalties have intensified in light of the young boy’s tragic death, as the public awaits the court’s decision on the matter.
