Hakim Ziyech’s move is part of Chelsea’s broader strategy to offload high earners and fringe players this summer.
Having joined Chelsea from Ajax in 2020, Hakim Ziyech made 107 appearances and scored 14 goals for the Blues.

Despite his undeniable talent, Hakim Ziyech struggled with consistency and gradually fell out of favor at the club.
Hakim Ziyech nearly joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan in January 2023, but the deal collapsed due to a paperwork error. Last summer, he was close to moving to the Saudi Pro League before eventually joining Galatasaray on loan.
During his loan spell, Ziyech made 23 appearances, scoring eight goals and providing four assists, helping Galatasaray secure the Turkish title.
