Ghanaian actor and popular skit maker Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, widely known as Dr. Likee, has shared an inspiring story about his journey to earning his first substantial YouTube payout, crediting fellow YouTuber Wode Maya for his success.

In a recent interview clip circulating on social media with Emelia Brobbey, Dr. Likee recounted how his first YouTube video yielded an impressive sum of approximately $20,000, equivalent to GH¢304,000, thanks to Wode Maya’s guidance.
Dr. Likee described the pivotal moment when Wode Maya sent him a document via WhatsApp and instructed him to take it to the bank, though he initially didn’t fully grasp its significance.
“When I showed the document to a bank staff member, he immediately asked me to sit down. Soon after, I was handed stacks of dollar bills. I was bewildered and thought it might be a setup. However, when I got home and counted the money, it totaled around $20,000,” Dr. Likee recounted with amazement.
