Actor Uche Maduagwu has criticized Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for attending Davido’s wedding to Chioma in Lagos on a Tuesday, a regular workday.

In an Instagram video message, Maduagwu expressed concerns over Governor Adeleke neglecting his official obligations to attend the opulent wedding ceremony.
He questioned whether the Governor would prioritize a wedding over his duties as Osun State’s Chief Executive Officer.
Maduagwu underlined that such behaviors set a bad example for others and reduce the seriousness with which public offices should be regarded.

He drew parallels with the private sector, questioning whether the Managing Director of a bank would leave the office on a Tuesday morning to attend a wedding.
The actor also emphasized the contrast between Governor Adeleke’s actions and those of other leaders, such as the Governors of New York and Texas, who would not attend a wedding on a workday.
Governor Adeleke attended the wedding alongside other dignitaries, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel.
The ceremony was a grand affair, with a swarm of celebrities and notable figures from various spheres of life in attendance.
