Tragedy has struck the family of boxing icon Roy Jones Jr. as his son, DeAndre Jones, tragically passed away at the age of 32.

According to representatives of the Jones family, DeAndre took his own life over the weekend, leaving behind a wave of sorrow and mourning.
Roy Jones Jr., a renowned figure in the world of boxing with titles spanning middleweight to heavyweight divisions, expressed profound grief over the loss of his son.
In a heartfelt statement, Jones Jr. shared his gratitude for having spent DeAndre’s final night with him and the family.
“I’m so thankful that God allowed me to come home Friday night to spend the last night of his life with me and the family,” said Jones Jr. “I know a lot of people are going through tough times right now, but nothing is worth taking your own life. God gives it and God should be the one to take it away.”
