Everton Football Club is close to signing 24-year-old Senegal international Marseille winger Iliman Ndiaye after reaching an agreement with the French club, according to Foot Mercato.

Iliman Ndiaye had an outstanding 2022-2023 season in the English Championship, contributing to 25 goals for Sheffield United.
Last summer, both Everton and Marseille showed interest in Iliman Ndiaye, who eventually opted for a €20m move to the great Ligue 1 side Marseille.

However, Everton Football Club has renewed its interest and is now in advanced talks to bring Iliman Ndiaye back to England.
Everton have made their first offer to Marseille, with only a few details left to finalize the transfer. This move is part of Everton’s strategy to strengthen their squad for a more competitive season.
Looking at the weak squad depth of Everton, they are at risk of being potentially relegated in the upcoming season, hence, they are looking for more good players to make them very competitive.
