In a statement, REGSEC emphasized that all stool lands in the Ashanti Region are under the custodianship of His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, and local chiefs.
The council stressed that citizens should seek resolution of land disputes through proper legal channels rather than resorting to the use of land guards, whose activities often lead to violence and disruption of public order.
The statement urged the public to cooperate with authorities and abide by established procedures for addressing land-related issues.
REGSEC emphasized its commitment to maintaining peace and order in the region, urging all residents to contribute towards creating a safe and harmonious environment.
The council concluded by calling for strict adherence to the directives issued, ensuring collective efforts to uphold peace and security in the Ashanti Region.
