But GFFN says he could also play for England, Nigeria, or Algeria. Olise was born in London, England, to a Nigerian father and a French-Algerian mother. He has a younger brother.

Thierry Henry, who manages France’s Olympic team, thinks Olise is likely to choose France.

Henry said in a press conference that Olise really wants to play for France and would have chosen England if he felt English.

England’s manager Gareth Southgate is interested in Olise but didn’t pick him for the Euros.

France’s manager Didier Deschamps also didn’t pick him, so Olise can still choose any of the four countries. Henry believes it’s mainly between France and England.

Also, there are rumors that Olise might move from the Premier League to Bayern Munich in Germany after a deal with Chelsea didn’t happen.
