Ghanaian gospel music sensation, Joe Mettle, has made a firm declaration regarding his stance on sponsorship from alcoholic brands, asserting that he will not accept any support from such companies, especially when it comes to his events.

In an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Joe Mettle emphasized his commitment to aligning his partnerships with brands that complement his faith-based values.
When asked specifically about potential sponsorship from unnamed alcohol brands, he unequivocally stated, “It is a no for me.”
Addressing the concept of silent sponsors who prefer not to be publicly acknowledged, Joe Mettle expressed uncertainty about accepting such support, stating, “With brands that give sponsorship and do not want to be mentioned, that is the silent sponsors, because silence is silent, I don’t know what I will do about that now though.”

Furthermore, Joe Mettle highlighted that sponsorship from companies is not without expectations, suggesting that there are often obligations attached, even if not immediately apparent.
“A company’s sponsorship is mostly not free since no matter what, you will be required to pay it someday since you will be invited on their stage,” he explained.
