Global Citizen, a leading group fighting to end extreme poverty, has revealed who will perform at the 2024 Global Citizen Festival on September 28 in Central Park.

Headliners include Post Malone, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, and Rauw Alejandro, with more acts to be announced. Hugh Jackman, a Global Citizen Ambassador, will host the event which will also have appearances by Dr. Jane Goodall and Chris Martin of Coldplay.



The world is facing a hunger crisis, rising infectious diseases, increasing debt, and record heat levels. At the same time, many countries are cutting back on foreign aid. This year is crucial for supporting organizations that can make a difference.
The festival aims to tackle these issues. Tickets are free and earned through actions on the Global Citizen app or website.
Global Citizen is urging G7 countries to boost support for anti-poverty efforts by at least 25 percent to help over 1.5 billion people. They’re also hosting an Economic Development Assembly in Côte d’Ivoire with partners.
They’re calling for a $1 billion investment to protect the Amazon rainforest and for EU and G20 countries to set timelines to phase out fossil fuels.
They want governments to commit $5 billion to ensure access to food, health, and education. They’re also pushing for full funding for Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance.

Global Citizen supports various organizations and calls for respect for human rights, especially for those fighting poverty and protecting the planet.

Hugh Evans of Global Citizen emphasized the urgency of their mission to hold governments accountable and demand action from businesses and foundations.
The festival’s campaign is backed by over 90 organizations and media companies worldwide. Zambia’s President highlighted the importance of Global Citizen’s support for IDA replenishment during their agricultural crisis.
