The ongoing strike has significantly disrupted hospital operations, leaving the facility open only for emergency surgeries that require immediate attention.
Patients in need of routine lab services are particularly affected, as the hospital’s laboratories remain closed with notices posted regarding the strike.

Frustration among patients is mounting due to the impact on their healthcare needs. “I urgently need my lab results to consult my doctor, but the strike has left me stranded,” lamented Godwin Vinyoh, one of the affected patients.
Theresah Osei, another patient, shared her plight, saying, “I was instructed to return on Monday for my test results, but the strike has disrupted my treatment plan. I appeal to the union to reconsider their stance, as patients like me are suffering.”
