Mr Ibu’s Wife Recounts Tearful Father’s Day Without Late Husband

Stella Maris, the widow of the late veteran Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, recently shared her deep sorrow on her first Father’s Day without her husband.

In a heartfelt press interview, Stella Maris recounted the overwhelming emotions she experienced on this significant day.

Speaking publicly for the first time since her husband’s passing, Stella Maris expressed how Father’s Day brought back a flood of memories and tears as she remembered the cherished moments with Mr. Ibu.

She revealed, “On Father’s Day, I felt so bad and was shedding tears when I remembered my husband.”

Despite her grief, Stella Maris highlighted the support she has received from the Nollywood community. She noted that fellow actors and industry members have shown her and her children kindness and assistance during this challenging time.

“The Nollywood actors have been supporting me and my children since he passed away. They have been good to us,” she said.
