Helen Glover is set to contest her fourth Olympic rowing regatta at Paris 2024, two more appearances than she had anticipated in her career. Gold medals at London 2012 and Rio 2016 prompted the Team GB athlete to retire, turning attention to starting a family.

In October 2022, Glover debuted in the World Rowing Coastal Championships, winning silver in the women’s solo class. In 2023, she added a World Championship bronze medal in the women’s coxless four to her extensive collection of accolades.

Is Helen Glover Retired?
After having three children the 37-year-old, who won gold in 2012 and 2016, came out of retirement to race at Tokyo 2020 in the summer of 2021 and finished fourth in the women’s pairs.
She will race in the women’s four, while Tokyo 2020 silver medallist Tom Barras returns in the men’s quadruple sculls.
