He was ordained as a Reverend Minister by Ghanaian-American Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng during a visit to the Archbishop’s church in the United States.
This ordination recognizes Great Ampong’s dedication to spreading the gospel through music and supporting the Christian community.
During the ceremony, Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng encouraged Great Ampong to reconcile with those he had conflicts with in the past, including fellow musician Daddy Lumba.
