Enugu Rangers, also known as the Flying Antelopes, have secured their eighth Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title, emerging as champions for the just-ended 2023/24 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Enugu Rangers clinched the league after a decisive 2-0 victory over Bendel Insurance on Sunday, June 16, at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu.

The victory was made possible by goals from Kelechuckwu Agu and Chidiebere Nwobodo, ensuring a triumphant season for the team managed by Fidelis Ilechukwu.

Enugu Rangers’ path to the title was cemented after their rivals, Enyimba and Remo Stars, failed to secure wins in their respective matches over the weekend.
This latest triumph brings Enugu Rangers’ NPFL title count to eight, placing them just one title behind Enyimba, who hold the record for the most league titles.
With one match remaining in the season, Rangers have demonstrated their dominance and resilience throughout the campaign, solidifying their legacy in Nigerian football.
